The Wigan Youth Crime Conference is a great opportunity for both the Police and Young People to meet in a non confrontational environment. The Youth Service invited Aposs along to make a video about the day.
The Client.
Aposs has worked with Wigan Youth Service for over 5 years, the service promotes a number of youth related issues across the Wigan Brough.
The Brief.
To video the Youth Crime Conference and produce a record of the event. The film is to be shown via a web video link to the members of the council who couldn't attend the event.
The Solution.
The event it's self was held at the DW Sports Stadium in Wigan. We identified a number of key individuals to interview, we also shot a wide variety of activities taking place at the event.
What the client said.
We commissioned Aposs to document a youth voice on crime conference for the Youth Cabinet. We held an initial meeting and Matty was keen to find out our video message so that he could make sure that the finished product conveyed just that. Matty responded to our request at very short notice, prepared interviews for key individuals and went about his business on the day in a very professional manner. The finished product was delivered direct to my door to meet a deadline. We have the film that we wanted and can now take that out and about to decision makers and commissioners. Thanks very much.
